For dental practices
Cloud storage for your practice's clinical photos
Take patient photos off the server in the back office, the shared drive and everyone's phones. DentalCloud keeps them encrypted, organised by patient, and ready on any device.
Free for up to 10 patients. No card needed.
Where are your practice's photos right now?
A server in the back office
Hardware to buy, update and replace. Only reachable inside the building, and one ransomware attack away from losing everything on it.
Phones and camera cards
Patient photos on personal devices and SD cards are a data protection risk, and they leave with the person who took them.
Dropbox and shared drives
Folders named by date or by whoever uploaded them. Finding one patient's before-and-after means scrolling through everyone's.
One secure place for every clinical photo
Organised by patient and case
Every photo belongs to a patient and a case type, so the right images are always one search away.
Any device, any surgery
Upload from a phone in the chair and view on the surgery PC. Nothing to install.
Timelines and comparisons
See a patient's treatment as a timeline, and put before and after side by side.
Share a case securely
Send a case to a patient or colleague with a private link instead of an email attachment.
Across more than one clinic
Dentists who work at several sites can record which clinic each patient belongs to.
Encrypted and private
AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.2+ in transit, and location data stripped from every photo on upload.

Common questions
Does DentalCloud replace our practice server?
For clinical photographs, yes. If your server also runs your practice management or X-ray software, keep it for those for now. Practice management is coming to DentalCloud.
How is patient data protected?
Photos are encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.2 or higher. Location and camera data is stripped from every photo on upload. Each dentist signs in to their own account.
Is it compliant with UK GDPR and HIPAA?
DentalCloud is aligned with UK GDPR. HIPAA accreditation is in progress.
How much does it cost?
Free for up to 10 patients and 1 GB, with no time limit and no card needed. Paid plans start at €15 a month.
